Hello, hello, hello! It has been a few days since the last post. Work has me going, going, going lately. Which is awesome for the paychecks, but other than that… I feel like my life is falling a little flat. I need a little R & R if you know what I mean. Have any suggestions for me? Need some ideas for weekend trips, or even just fun, new things to do on my weekends to get out of the house.
I have had a little fun though, we have managed to get out of the house every now and then. This picture is from visiting JUMP, in Boise. We got to sit outside on their patio, watch the sunset and eat some DELICIOUS cotton candy from All Spun Up. Don’t you just love that view?
A pina colada or two have been consumed so far this summer. Hey, no judgment! Summer Reading is a hard time for us librarians! 😜
We have visited a few markets, which are one of my favorite things to do on weekends. Check out this beautiful lavender I picked up. I swear you can smell it a mile away. Lavender is one of my favorite plants, I plan on drying this bunch out and using for some projects I have in mind.
Last but not least, we have been bicycling around our neighborhood. Confession time, I never learned how to ride a bike when I was a child. So yes, I look like a dork and every person has reminded me of that since trying to learn. I think I finally got the hang of it last night, just need to fine tune a few things. I can’t believe I missed out so much of my childhood, it was a blast zooming around on the streets!
And yes, I’m a tad sunburned in this picture. Librarians don’t go out in the sun! We are surrounded by piles of books the majority of the time! 😂
Hopefully, there will be more adventures coming up. As long as the weather doesn’t do anything funny, I plan on finally going swimming. That pineapple floaty in my closet needs to be used! 🍍
Until next time! Hopefully, the next post will be a review, I’ve been reading some fun new YA novels we just got in.
