Hello the world of the Internet! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, I certainly did. I love this time of the year, there is so much joy and tradition, it just makes my little heart happy. 😀
There is one holiday that I don’t particularly care for… Yep, New Year’s. Never been a fan, especially since I suck at making these promises to myself and goals for the upcoming year. I consider myself to “cool” for such nonsense for the longest time. Yeah, imagine that. Never in my life have I been to “cool” for anything. Tee hee.
However, this year, I am determined to make some changes. The two BIGGEST changes I have ever made, and I am more-than-slightly overwhelmed. They are:
- Finally get over the depression/anxiety issues that hold me back so much in life.
- If not in 2019, by 2020, publish my first novel.
Yep. You heard me right. Two huge goals to overcome. I hope I haven’t bitten off more than I can chew. But thankfully, I feel such a burning desire to make these changes and pursue my love for writing into an actual reality. Keep me in your thoughts, prayers, whatever, I think I will need all the luck I can get.
And don’t worry, to all those who are wondering, I will still post book reviews. I will be busy, but I absolutely love reviews and wouldn’t dream of giving it up! In fact, one should be up shortly, a new fun read I got my hands on. 🙂
As for all my followers (and others!) I hope your 2019 is YOUR year! Work on those goals, get that job, travel on that vacation, start a family, whatever it is that your heart desires. I am so excited to see what this year will bring!!
Love always, The Library Lady ♡
