New day, new reads

Good evening all πŸ™‚

It’s been a few days since I have posted, back to the work grind. I just wanted to update you all on what has been going on.

I’m still waiting for “Daughter of the Siren Queen” to become available for check out at the library. I’m just itching to read it!

But never fear! Because I always have a book or two on hand. πŸ˜‰ I have recently been reading “The Wicked Deep” by Shea Ernshaw. I had my reservations about the book. But I’m glad I picked it up, it has turned out much better than anticipated! If you like a spooky read, then this one is for you. I didn’t plan on doing a review of it, but I decided I just can’t help myself. I’m over halfway done with the book, so the review won’t be far behind. Make sure to follow my Instagram, @thelibraryladyblog, to follow updates on that. πŸ™‚

And that is just the start! I finally got my hands on Fredrick Backman’s newest book, “Us Against You”, sequel to “Beartown”. “Beartown” blew me away (as all of Backman’s books do), so you can imagine my excitement for this one. I haven’t decided on if I will do a review of that book, as I will feel compelled to do a review on “Beartown” first, but again, I will let y’all know if I do. I’m glad my work week is almost over, I need a couple of days of some chai tea and reading.
Other than that, there isn’t much else to report. Well, unless I rant and rave about petty little life things. But that isn’t the point of this blog… teehee. I will keep in touch and will hopefully have a review up maybe by this weekend. Again, follow me on Instagram! I post more frequently there. Until next time πŸ™‚
